Spring Collection 2016 - 16 New Paintings

I'm so excited to share what I've been up to in the studio for the last 3 months.  I thought I would try out presenting works all at once in collection-form (hoping to push myself to expand and create more while also making it more fun for you all, with so much to explore!)

This collection focuses on the shift from winter to spring and how it feels as the season changes from an apparent stillness to vibrant activity.  There has been an expansion of vocabulary, trying out new forms, searching for just the right shapes and movements.  I've also dipped a toe into including oil pastels on canvases, introducing slight line elements and a tiny bit of pattern.  There's a mix of large and mid-sized canvases along with several sets of works on paper - so much to see!
