Happy New Year and a SNeak Peek

1/3/2013

Can you believe it's 2013?!  It's upon us, and I have to admit, I'm not ready yet.  Every year by this time, I have completed my Year in Review and have already set my New Year goals. That has simply not happened, but I do intend to get that worked out soon.  Better late than never? So much attention has been given to getting our studio up and running.  Furniture has been picked out!  Things are being organized!  But we still have lots of work to be done.
Here is a sneak peek at a Christmas present given to me by my sister.  She created these fantastic hanging pots - they look excellent in our studio.  Just what it needs!

Now if I can only keep these cute plants alive! I'm not known for my green thumb.

Hey lauren...... not authority on these, but these little Tillandsia(?) bromeliads are tropical epiphytes and usuallly just want a frequent spraying on the leaves, in a warm bright spot..... not like terrestrial plants in soil.....

Thanks, Jim! I hope they are okay where I have them, it's not a location with full sun. My sister told me to give them a spray or dunk them in water. I have been giving them a dunk - hope that's ok! I would be so sad if I hurt them. Thanks for stopping by :)

yeah they just don't have much a root, usually just enough to hold onto tree bark or such, and if in any dirt they likely will just rot out if too much water.... lots of info online though....

and no offense I hope.. but have noticed a few your abstract/landscapes really work pretty nice when rotate 90-180*... maybe I'm just wired wrong!!! ........still enjoying them...

Jim, no absolutely not - I have had buyers change the orientation on these little paintings many times. Once I complete them, I often change them around one way or another, too. :)
