A layered original oil and oil pastel painting in a versatile 12x12 format - intimate in scale yet rich in surface and depth. Built through layers of oil paint, graphite, and oil pastel, these pieces explore the quiet space where light begins to emerge. Gestural marks and dense passages of impasto remain visible, allowing the history of the painting to become part of its form. A piece that rewards sustained looking, where subtle shifts in color, texture, and surface slowly reveal themselves.
A substantial small-format work ideal for shelves, on its own or incorporated into a curated gallery wall.
One-of-a-kind painting. All materials are archival. Ready to hang.
