Be sure to stop over at The English Room - I'm so honored to be featured in their Artist Spotlight Series with an interview! Topics covered include studio life and pasta sauce; you can't miss that! A big thank you goes out to Holly Hollingsworth Phillips for having me!

Very happy to be over at Otomi Home today with an interview. Many thanks to Megan Bachmann for having me! Pop on over and have a look!
So happy to say that my work has been featured over at Decoist, an architecture and interior design blog! Thank you, Decoist!
Super excited to have one of my works on paper included on HGTV's Shop the Show collection for an episode of Candice Tells All. It's included as an example for neutral accessories in a space on their Canadian website. Thanks, HGTV!
Summer has flown by and I'm looking forward to what fall has in store. Namely, I'm very excited to share some very big news! Recently, I have been extended an invitation of gallery representation by Anne Neilson Fine Art. Anne is an accomplished painter and entrepreneur, who is now expanding her repertoire with a gallery. Best of all, Anne's new gallery is located in Charlotte, NC and I couldn't be more excited as I have some wonderful clients in that area. It's truly an honor to be asked and I couldn't be happier to partner with Anne!
Below are just a couple of the paintings that will be on display at Anne Neilson Fine Art... I have been delighted to participate in a 2 week pop-up shop over at Joy and Revelry this month (today is the last day of the sale)! Designer Bryn Dunn was generous to include my work in her shop and write up several lovely posts including my work. The sale has been a great success and I owe it all to her - Thank you, Bryn!
You can find me over at the lovely Beautiful Hello blog today. I discuss my background and process. Also, I attempt to provide advice to aspiring artists - eek! Thank you to Emily Jeffords for the interview!
I'm in the studio again today, starting 3 canvases in a new small size that I want to test out. Hopefully these turn out and I can share them here soon. Also, wanted to say a big "thanks!" to Victoria at her lifestyle blog, vmac+cheese. She featured my work in a really nice post, so make sure you stop by and have a look! Hmm...now I have a craving for some really good macaroni and cheese...
Have a great weekend everyone! Unbelieveable! One of the fantastic things about being an artist and selling your work is that you never know where your paintings will end up. Recently I came across my own work on Design*Sponge - how crazy is that?! It's all thanks to the tremendous blogger Stephanie Brubaker, who purchased one of my tiny paintings. Her amazing home was featured on Design*Sponge, and with it, my art - Thank you, Stephanie!
Recently I have been lucky to have my work appear on some fantastic interior design blogs...
I'm so honored to have a large work on canvas chosen by Laurie at Laurie Griffiths Interior Design for her post: 10 Fab Artists to Check Out. She's done such a wonderful job describing my work and I adore the other artists she has featured. Kristen at K Sarah Designs has curated a lovely post that includes one of my small works on paper: Affordable Art for Gallery Walls. Be sure to check out her recipes too, they look amazing! Also, several works on paper have been selected by Bryn Dunn of Bryn Alexandra's for Loving Lately - Have a look at her food blog too, 80% Healthy (I always look forward to her posts on both blogs!) Make sure you stop by and see what else these ladies are writing about, and see the photos of all the gorgeous, fresh spaces they design. I'm happy to have several great new blogs to follow! Just got my copies of the first drop of the West Elm Summer catalog in the mail and my work is included in it! Unreal!
I am so so happy to be able to (finally) announce that my work will be featured in the West Elm Summer 2012 catalog! For those of you who may be unfamiliar with West Elm, it was launched by Williams-Sonoma Inc. in 2002 and "has become a destination for design lovers–and it continues to grow. Mixing clean lines, natural textures and global accents, west elm creates unique, affordable designs for modern living."
Waaaay back in September 2011, I was asked to participate in their photoshoot, with the possibility of being selected for the catalog. I scrambled to get the requested (large) painting to the shoot in Brooklyn (they needed it ASAP).* There were no guarantees that I would be included in the catalog, and I'm so fortunate to have made the cut! West Elm partners with select Etsy artists to be featured online and in each of their seasonal catalogs, so they have original artwork paired with their products, and the artist's etsy shop is mentioned, too. To receive a West Elm catalog, you can sign up right here. *I had literally just delivered the painting to Sleeth Gallery for exhibition! I am so grateful that Sleeth Gallery director Margo Davis let me drive down and substitute the painting. Thank goodness the exhibit hadn't been installed yet, whew! I am very fortunate to have really awesome collectors like blogger Tonya aka The Bee Charmer. She is an attorney who lives in North Carolina with two Corgis(love) and owns two of my paintings. Thanks for the really nice post and showing some love for another WV gal - it's appreciated!
You remember Gray Blush Gallery, the awesome new online gallery that I am working with? They have unleashed their brand new website! Make sure you stop by and check it out - and don't forget to visit my profile page on the site as well as browse through all the other great artists they carry...
