Thought I'd share a few recent photos that I have taken as inspiration for use in the studio. The silting of Prickett's Creek particularly fascinates me. 
Haven't had enough time outdoors lately, so Derek and I went to a nearby park...  It's been very dry frequently. Felt almost like fall...   We brought a blanket and shared some particularly good apricots. I recently tried fresh apricots for the first time (not sure why I had never eaten anything but dried before!)  I can't forget to take time and refuel. It was great to get out...  I hope everyone has been able to enjoy this last bit of nice weather we've been having (at least in WV, anyway)! Thought I would share some fall photos from a weekend walk along a local trail... I am thrilled to have been invited to be one of the artists representing Marion County. You can find me there from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Gateway on Saturday, October 15, 2011. There will also be numerous other artists, musicians, actors, and vendors celebrating, too! The Gateway will be commemorated also with a special ceremony, the opening of the new Marion County Visitors Center, a 5-K Night Glow Run, and a huge fireworks show.
